Biography

Wei Liangfu, Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor. He graduated from Jiamusi Medical College with a Bachelor's degree in Stomatology in 1992 and obtained a Master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002. He previously served as a master's supervisor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently a general dentist. He is the Director of the Dental Medical Aesthetics Center, Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He is a member of the Expert Group of the Beijing Oral Quality Control Center and a council member of the Beijing Stomatological Association. Since graduation, he has been engaged in teaching, clinical practice, and research in stomatology. He has presided over and participated in multiple provincial- and university-level research and teaching projects. He has received municipal Science and Technology Progress Awards multiple times. He has served as chief editor or contributing editor of several books. He has published more than 20 professional papers. He has been awarded the title of Outstanding Communist Party Member and Outstanding Department Director at the hospital level multiple times. His main research directions are aesthetic dental design and treatment, and multidisciplinary combined treatment of occlusal disorders. He specializes in orthodontic treatment of malaligned teeth, combined orthodontic-orthognathic treatment, dental implant restoration, occlusal reconstruction for missing (defective) dentition or multidisciplinary combined treatment of occlusal disorders, minimally invasive alveolar surgery, etc. He treats dental and endodontic diseases, acute and chronic periapical lesions, gingivitis, periodontitis, and removable and fixed aesthetic restoration of missing teeth, etc. He undertakes the special discipline construction project of Peking Union Medical College for the Dental Medical Aesthetics Center of the Plastic Surgery Hospital.
